Among VPC's products, the PLI/SP ecosystem — the PLI Hub — stands as its major current challenge. Its design involves integrating specialized applications, data, and processes within a shared structure, in which each system addresses specific demands while contributing to the operation and evolution of the whole. The scale and complexity of this initiative have enabled us to exercise our ability to combine technical and scientific knowledge, geoinformation, data engineering, and web development in the construction of integrated solutions for territorial management and strategic planning.

To enable systems with this capacity for integration and evolution, we prioritize free and open-source technologies — Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). In addition to eliminating or significantly reducing licensing costs, this model benefits from collaborative development and active communities that continuously improve, document, and test technologies used around the world.

For the client, this means greater autonomy over systems and data, technological transparency, easier integration, and the freedom to maintain, adapt, and expand the solution without excessive dependence on a single vendor or proprietary licenses. Resources can therefore be directed toward what truly adds value to the project: understanding the demand, ensuring data quality, developing functionality, and continuously evolving the system.

SIGMA — AHP Calculator 2.0

Multi-criteria decision-support tool based on Saaty's Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), with a guided five-step workflow: criteria selection and naming, pairwise comparisons, automatic weight calculation, and consistency ratio (CR) validation. SIGMA-PLI interface with interactive visualizations, manual or matrix upload input, and export to PDF, CSV, and XLSX.

PLI — Smart Router

Intelligent router offering conventional routing (the shortest path via OSRM) and Smart routing, which avoids hazards identified in active map layers. Origins and destinations can be defined by coordinates, text search (city, address, or postal code via ViaCEP), or by clicking the Leaflet map. Routes can be exported in JSON and Shapefile formats.
